1. What type of session does the deal qualify for?
This 30 minute session qualifies for our Simply True Portrait session, with the option to have the session either in-studio or at a pre-determined outdoor location in Livermore, Oakland, Danville or Milpitas. This is ultra-spective’s value boutique line of portraits. The session can be of yourself such as a headshot, a baby or newborn session, a session of your children or family, a maternity session or a couple session. This deal does not qualify for a boudoir session, a custom location session or a wedding event.
2. How many people can be in the portrait?
The session includes up to 5 family members for a family session. Add $25 for each additional 4 persons included in the family portrait. Only valid for family portraits.
3. How long is the portrait session?
Typically the session is up to 30 minutes for an in-studio session and 25 minutes for a location session. If you’d like a longer session to accommodate an independent toddler, more poses, an outfit change and/or a more personalized experience, you can upgrade to a 50 minute session for only $25 due at the time of scheduling.
4. How many images are included in the session?
We will show you 20 – 30 of the best images from your session from which to make your selection. The deal includes one image in a print package OR one image on a disc. The print package includes three sheets of prints of one image. A sheet is defined as 1-8×10 OR 2-5x7s OR 4-4x6s OR 8-wallets. The disc includes one high resolution color corrected jpg along with permission to reproduce/print the image for your personal use.
5. How do I view and select my images?
Your images will be ready to view in our gallery one week after your photoshoot by appointment. We are located at 2074 Second Street in downtown Livermore. We will have a movie prepared for your viewing pleasure in our theater screening room. You’ll be amazed by how awesome your portraits look when you see them on our large screen. However, if you’d like the convenience of a website to view and order your images at your leisure, we can provide that service for a $50 fee and $20 of that fee can be used as credit to purchase additional products.
6. Since you’ll be doing so many sessions from this deal, will the quality of my photos be the same as your “regular” clients?
Absolutely YES! We have a dedicated staff of talented photographers, editors and an office manger. We are set up to take great care of all of our clients. Our clients currently travel from all over the bay area to have the ultra-spective experience and we are looking forward to giving you that same quality of service and products.
7. When can I schedule my portrait session?
You are encouraged to schedule your portrait session as soon as possible. We generally have availability at the studio for a Tuesday – Friday appointment within two weeks notice. We do offer evening appointments to accommodate your work schedule. Weekend appointments are extremely popular and can book up 2 months in advance.
8. What if I want more than one image?
You may purchase additional prints or images on disk. The complete pricing menu is here. Here’s an idea of prices of some of the most popular items:
- An extra sheet of prints is only $39.
- An additional high resolution image on disc is $195.
- A disc of all the high resolution images is discounted to $305 (this is the discounted price when you trade in the one image on disc included in the groupon deal. Regular price is $500).
- One framed collage (14×20 or 15×15) of up to 5 images is $225.
