It’s Winter!

Our winters typically resemble a glorious fall day when compared to the more extreme climes of New York, Chicago, and many other regions across the U.S. Especially with the above average temperatures we’ve had so far this year our lows would be considered balmy compared to the highs in Minneapolis or Boston. We’re lucky to live in a place where temperature swings are relatively mild and it’s sometimes difficult to tell the difference between seasons. One of our recent photo shoots is a great example of this sort of ambiguity. Recently we gathered at one of our favorite spots, Sycamore Grove Park, with Janel, Mark, Brittney and Preston for a winter family photo shoot. You wouldn’t know it from the pictures but these were actually taken in December. Compare the scenery to some photos we took back in September or October and you would be hard pressed to point out more than a handful of differences.

We probably just wasted a bunch of your time by writing that paragraph. Nobody’s paying attention to the scenery anyway. When you have four people that steal the scene like this family did we could have superimposed a picture of Sasquatch in the background and no one would have batted an eye. This family is not just good looks though, especially the kids. They have charming personalities that connect with people on all levels. While their parents were busy reviewing photos they happily chatted up our gallery manager with their reflections on life. Those two won’t need the help of Facebook and Twitter to make friends. They are easily two of the most social kids we’ve ever met.

Enjoy!
